Visual identity, social media assets and DJ branding for a national rock station — plus an ongoing presenting role hosting a weekly show.
Rock Radio UK is a national digital radio station broadcasting rock and indie music to listeners across the UK. The brief was to evolve their visual identity, create consistent social media templates and design individual DJ profile assets — giving the station a more professional, broadcast-standard look.
I designed and produced the complete suite of social media assets that Rock Radio UK uses across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter — from generic show-promotion templates to artist-specific posts and fun-fact graphics. These needed to be instantly recognisable as RRUK while also being versatile enough for different content types.
I also designed individual DJ headshot graphics, creating a consistent format that gives each presenter their own branded identity while maintaining station-wide cohesion. The format works equally well in promotional posts, on-screen graphics and printed materials.
Alongside the design work, I'm the host of Loaded — a weekly show every Tuesday at midday dedicated to the best indie and rock. It's where my love of music and my professional life genuinely overlap.
I'm currently working on a full visual rebrand of the station's identity and a website relaunch, taking the work to the next level.
A coherent, professional visual presence across all digital channels. The templates have made it significantly easier for the station's team to produce consistent, on-brand content at speed — and the DJ headshot format has become the standard way every new presenter is introduced to the audience.
